This journal is friends-only, because I tend to post about TV/movies/books/fandom as well as about real life. I'll be glad to add to my Friends List anyone with whom I share interests, although it's not always that I have time to be around LJ as much as I'd like to.

ANGEL
My name is Angelica, 38, Brazilian, Biologist, University Teacher. I teach Botany to Biology undergraduates, and I also do research on freshwater microscopic Algae, focusing mainly on their relationship with water quality.
I was born in the South of Brazil, and lived here for most of my life. Between 1998 and 2002, though, I lived in Hull, East Yorkshire, England, where I did my PhD at Hull University.

What do I write about on this journal? Well, daily life... stuff that happens at University, at home... travelling, going out, shopping, books, films... Oh, my dogs Tetéia and Lolita are mentioned quite often here too :)
I post picspams of my favourite actors, and also comments/reviews/screencaps of TV shows and movies. I DON'T write fanfiction or post graphics (not good ones anyway)...
Things I DON’T like: slash, photo manipulations (especially slash or incest related - they make me run away from the computer), and fanvideos (they bore me to death).
I strongly dislike, in fact I hate anything related to Wincest or any other incestuous relationship, and I will never ever understand how people can be so turned on by it. It's unbelievable!
